My Fate

Posted by Liber

Today I have decided my fate. I have persuaded Malcolm to join me in over quest to over throw Macbeth. I know that Malcolm doesn’t trust me. But I know that I will gain his trust. I NEED A QUOTE HERE. I don’t really know if I can trust him. I only asked him to join me because of what Macbeth has done to me. He has murdered my wife and children and now I am seeking revenge. That’s the only reason why I want to kill Macbeth. I don’t want to be King of Cawdor. It is okay for Malcolm to take the position. He is the rightful king of Cawdor anyways. The King present has done nothing but accuses and kills. But Malcolm is different. I don’t know what I have dojne wrong for Macbeth to have killed my family. I know I will kill Macbeth and seek my revenage. And then die in peace if it occurs.

Macduff

I am Macduff, Thane of Fife. A father to a dead son, and a husband to a dead wife, and friend to the new king of Scotland. I have always known, the day I’ve seen King Duncan’s body I’ve known that the soul traitor is Macbeth. I’ve raced to Scotland to discus to Malcom about taking the Scottish throne by Macbeth with violent actions. During my ride to from Scotland to England I’ve been informed of the death of my family, by the cowardly act of Macbeth. I have been sad, My family has been slayed, (Act 4 scene 2), i still dream of the horror. Macbeth's confidence is his belief that he is invincible. The witches have assured him that he cannot be killed by anyone "of woman born". But the witches did not state his “indestructible” powers can be slayed by my own sword.

A Scottish nobleman and King Duncan’s commissioned officer, I am Macduff, the Thane of Fife. My loyalty stalls with his highness, Duncan and I despise the unworthy traitor who deprived the life of this mighty king. “Confusion now hath made his masterpiece/ Most sacrilegious murder hath broke ope/ The Lord’s anointed temple and stole thence/ The life o’ the building” (Act 2, Scene 3) When I saw the lifeless body of the king, I was horrified. Whoever did the horrible crime is one with a very cruel and sadistic mind. I cannot think of someone capable of doing such a selfish act, but when Macbeth killed the only people who can answer the questions everyone is eager to know, suspicion tingled in my head. I asked him, “Wherefore did you so?” (Act 2, Scene 3) I felt that something was not right - the succession of events - Macbeth’s succession of the throne. Macbeth is a brave warrior, but after his reign, everything has turned into chaos. Crime, as well as death became common. And shortly, he gave me the most terrifying moment of my life, worse than the selfish murder of the king. HE KILLED MY FAMILY! I felt like someone heaved my soul from my body. And all of these pushed me to avenge, not only for my beloved wife, my chickens, but also for the people of Scotland.
